Community Events & Causes
On November 11th we successfully completed our first annual blood drive events along with the amazing team from the San Diego Blood Event! ‘One of the proudest moments of GGC for 2020’ said Howard Solomon, our man behind the curtain. The event took place in the Piazza della Famiglia, and it was indeed a place where our family got together for a beautiful cause. Louis did a GREAT job organizing the whole thing.

Toy Drive
give a toy this year!
Our little elves have been hard at work decorating their toy drive boxes at each location!
Join us in bringing joy by giving toys to children in need. Gifts benefit Home Start Inc, a non-profit child abuse prevention and treatment agency, that has strengthened and developed San Diego’s families, communities, and systems of care since 1972. To effectively prevent and treat child abuse, Home Start addresses the conditions that can contribute to risky or abusive situations– poverty, unsafe neighborhoods, lack of affordable housing, and unemployment – while concurrently addressing individual self-sufficiency and emotional needs.

Eats by Sam is getting into the Christmas spirit! On December 13th, Eats By Sam will host a Breakfast with Surfin Santa! There will be Breakfast from EATS, festive drinks, (socially distant) photos with Santa, and holiday goodies 🎄

During the month of December we decide to randomly add gift cards to our customers’ order. You can win a $25, $50 or a golden ticket for $100 gift cards when ordering from any of our locations. The message below is from an email that was sent by one of Golden Ticket winners from Graze by Sam.
“ Hi, we received this in our delivery. My son and I are at Rady’s Children’s hospital. He has been diagnosed with leukemia and he wanted a charcuterie board. He’s only 8! Lol. Thanks for the yummy food!”
As Howard said: “You never know, when we are making a difference, but trust me...we make a difference in a lot people's lives every day”.

CSS Top Chef Challenge
Carnitas’ Snack Shack started off this month with their first Top Chef Tournament, featuring very talented contestants! Our judges will get to try each dish and who ever wins the challenge will have their winning item added to the CSS menu!
